Business Planning

Arts Wellington

Angus & Associates worked with Wellington’s arts, cultural and heritage organisations to establish ‘Arts Wellington’, a collaborative marketing agency for the Wellington Region.  This involved running a number of workshops across the sector, developing a Business Plan and securing early funding from a variety of sources.

Once established, Angus & Associates acted as Arts Wellington until such time as an administrator was appointed, completing recruitment of the agency’s membership base and rolling out a number of early marketing initiatives.

Tourism Sector

Angus & Associates has been involved in planning for the tourism sector over a number of years...

… Working initially with the Tourism Industry Association NZ to develop the discussion paper ‘Tourism 2010: A Strategy for New Zealand Tourism’ (one catalyst to development of the original New Zealand Tourism Strategy 2010).

… Leading the Tourism Strategy Secretariat (on behalf of the Minister of Tourism) to prepare an initial plan for implementation of NZTS2010.

… Working with the Tourism Strategy Group (formerly the Ministry of Tourism) at various stages on the development of a Research & Development Strategy for the New Zealand tourism sector (including facilitation of sector-wide forums and an independent review of the R&D framework and priorities).

… Developing a Communications Plan for the updated New Zealand Tourism Strategy 2015 (from release of the draft in April 2007 to launch of the final document in November 2007).
