Marketing & Stakeholder Communications

Tourism Workforce Strategy

Angus & Associates prepared a document distilling the Tourism and Hospitality Workforce Strategy, to inform industry and focus collective action, on behalf of the Strategy Leadership Group.

ATTTO "10 Good Reasons"

Angus & Associates produced “10 Good Reasons”, a case for additional public sector funding of tourism sector training and education, on behalf of the Aviation, Travel & Tourism Training Organisation and its members.  Following distribution of this document, ATTTO secured a substantial boost in its annual funding via the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC).

ATTTO subsequently noted in its 2006 Annual Report:  “A Business Case “Ten Good Reasons to Increase Funding for Tourism Industry Training and Education” was commissioned and released in May. This was well received by stakeholders. Subsequently our funding contract for 2007 from the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) was increased by 22%. This increase has allowed substantial reinvestment within the organisation to raise support and services for 2007.”

Holiday Accommodation Parks New Zealand (HAPNZ)

Angus & Associates prepared an independent review and analysis of existing data relating to the use of Holiday Parks and the provision of Holiday Park accommodation for the Holiday Accommodation Parks Association of New Zealand (HAPNZ). This analysis confirmed the current shape of the Holiday Park sector in New Zealand and, along with later research helped to demonstrate the sector’s significance to local communities and to the country as a whole.  HAPNZ is an industry body representing the interests of around 300 of the 400 commercial Holiday Parks in New Zealand.

Wellington Convention Centre – Environmental Sustainability Communications Strategy

Angus & Associates prepared the communications strategy and associated collateral announcing Wellington Convention Centre’s commitment to environmental sustainability and, in particular, its achievement of the ISO 14001 set of environmental management standards.   This resulted in significant coverage of WCC as a market leader on sustainability issues in its sector, in trade, regional and national media.
