Social and Economic Impact Assessment for the Great Taste Trail

Angus & Associates was commissioned by the Nelson Tasman Cycle Trust to undertake an impact assessment for the Great Taste Trail, one of New Zealand’s 23 Great Rides.

Our research identified that the Great Taste Trail serves as a vital recreational facility, caters to a diverse array of users, plays a pivotal role in environmental conservation, fosters opportunities for entrepreneurial ventures, and is a key driver for the Nelson Tasman economy. In addition to its economic impact, the GTT is yielding substantial benefits for public health and well-being.
